Well here I go again another 4 cylinder Mustang that makes 3 in a row now! Maybe some of you have seen it on Ebay, offered the owner $900 and she accepted so here is Cameron's first car, he doesn't know yet he thought it was sold already but I figure its a good starter. Whats cool is it's all original including the stereo! For an 86 thats unreal...

429 Boss Mustang May 28, 2008 10:24 PM

hey not bad at all.
I was 15 when i first got my truck which is a 1992 F150 with a 300 runs great has over 300 000 miles tho lol xD

Nice find !! hows it run? Any reason why this is your 3rd 4 cyl. ? thinking about getting another one also

Blue Notch May 28, 2008 10:43 PM

Looks pretty good! A four cylinder notch is a great first car. There's absolutely no way to get into trouble with it.

hi5.0 May 28, 2008 11:22 PM

congrats! looks like a 5.0 conversion may not happen for a while - yet. 4 cyl. or no, anyone can get in trouble with any car - brand "H***a" is a glaring example. turbo 2.3 would be pretty good too!

Nice! Great first car for a 17 year old :nice:

Great car in general actually :nice:

Glenn May 29, 2008 05:17 AM

Evil_Capri May 29, 2008 05:24 AM

Nice!! Yeah, if I ever need a clean 4-cylinder Mustang donor . . . . I'm getting in touch with you!! :jester: :nice:

Cheese302 May 29, 2008 05:48 AM

thats sweet. i would work the junk out of that 4 cylinder later in life. much cooler than my first car.

AndrewM May 29, 2008 01:05 PM

sweet first car!!! slap some ponys on there and it will look 100% better! what all do you plan on doing to it? or are you leaving it up to cameron?

interior/engine pics?

Zastava_101 May 29, 2008 01:13 PM

Congrats.

unnoticedtrails May 29, 2008 06:41 PM

awesome! one lucky kid!

jacostang May 29, 2008 09:34 PM

Thanks guys, it has 205,000 on the car and she said it leaks a little tranny fluid but she drives it from Lake Elsinore to Moreno Valley twice a week. So i'll just baby it home across the desert. Now if he can get his grades up it will be his in a few months!!

Nice! I had an 84 GT350 when I was 16 yrs. old.

So whats the game plan? 347 Stroker? You picked a notch back too! Thats sweet! Don't ever sell it, put the 347 Stroker in it and slap one or two turbos on it, with some Weld Pro-Stars and its a wrap!

Man that car has a bright future.

future9er24 May 30, 2008 01:54 AM

A 347 stroker is the last thing a 17 year old needs in his first car lol. I got in enough trouble as it was with a 171 V6 when I first started

I still can get into trouble with my 4.6 lol

90mustanggt May 31, 2008 09:51 AM

that's a very nice fox

A great find:nice:! Stock foxes are something almost extinct. A great first car for your son. Hope he likes it. Those 2.3's sure can take abuse and once boosted, who needs a v8. And with today's gas prizes, who cares!
I personally have been searching for a good SVO, 86 vintage if possible.

Thats a great idea!! Plenty of easy to find parts to convert it over to a turbo. Just walk in to any Ford dealership and order. Sounds like a better option to me as well..

Oooops! Sorry about that. Didn't mean to be a bad influence on a 17 year old.. LOL!

I tried to demolish a house with my first car, a 77 Volvo 242DL 4 spd. Guess what was demolished:banghead:
