My 17 years olds First Car!!

Well here I go again another 4 cylinder Mustang that makes 3 in a row now! Maybe some of you have seen it on Ebay, offered the owner $900 and she accepted so here is Cameron's first car, he doesn't know yet he thought it was sold already but I figure its a good starter. Whats cool is it's all original including the stereo! For an 86 thats unreal...

Looks pretty good! A four cylinder notch is a great first car. There's absolutely no way to get into trouble with it.

congrats! looks like a 5.0 conversion may not happen for a while - yet. 4 cyl. or no, anyone can get in trouble with any car - brand "H***a" is a glaring example. turbo 2.3 would be pretty good too!

Thanks guys, it has 205,000 on the car and she said it leaks a little tranny fluid but she drives it from Lake Elsinore to Moreno Valley twice a week. So i'll just baby it home across the desert. Now if he can get his grades up it will be his in a few months!!

Nice! I had an 84 GT350 when I was 16 yrs. old.

So whats the game plan? 347 Stroker? You picked a notch back too! Thats sweet! Don't ever sell it, put the 347 Stroker in it and slap one or two turbos on it, with some Weld Pro-Stars and its a wrap!

Man that car has a bright future.

A 347 stroker is the last thing a 17 year old needs in his first car lol. I got in enough trouble as it was with a 171 V6 when I first started

I still can get into trouble with my 4.6 lol

A great find! Stock foxes are something almost extinct. A great first car for your son. Hope he likes it. Those 2.3's sure can take abuse and once boosted, who needs a v8. And with today's gas prizes, who cares!
I personally have been searching for a good SVO, 86 vintage if possible.

Thats a great idea!! Plenty of easy to find parts to convert it over to a turbo. Just walk in to any Ford dealership and order. Sounds like a better option to me as well..
