Mustang+Capri+Notch = Coupri!

http://www.musclemustangfastfords.co...upe/index.html

I know we have some Notch lovers (and even a newer TMS member (sgt d) with an Awesome Notch himself), Foureyed lovers, and Capri lovers (few ). So I thought I would share the following. Quite possibly my favorite car of all time has been created . . . it has everything I love!!

lol.. that was the same thing that popped into my head.

evil capri, thanks for the honorable mention!!

that takes some dedication to take it that far. i wonder how hard it was to get the rear quarters to line up to flow with the body lines. when i see pictures like this it makes me kick myself in the **** for not shaving the engine bay. i have been on the look out for a while now, i want to to a 4 eye coupe but want the harder to find t top car.

nice find evil capri. i have a question for you, what year capri has to have the tail light assembly panel cut out to put lx tail lights on them? i know there are two years that do not but i can not remember the years. i have a friend that is building a capri now but he does not agree that he will have to do some fab work on the panel.

I just got this issue a few days ago. Overall I like the car, but I think an 85-86 front bumper would look nicer, as its already been said this car looks a lot like a monte carlo from the front. Just my .02

The early Fox Capris (79-82) had the same bumper cover, hatch, and "type" retangular tail lights as the Mustang. And if memory serves there does need to be some cutting on both Mustangs and Capris to fit later LX tail lights. The bubble backs came in '83 through '86. I think if a Mustang rear bumper cover is used on a 83-86 the LX tail lights should fit no problem, but I am not 100% sure as it is a sin to put Mustang parts on a Capri!! (But OK to put Capri parts on Mustangs! )

I think I have seen this same question asked on foureyedpride.com as well. If need be I can do a little searching over the weekend.

That is probably the sweetest notch I have ever seen

Too bad it doesnt have the capri tails though, and the best feature of capris... BUBBLE HATCH but of course, that defeats the notchiness

Beautiful Mustang. Three of my favorite features -- A notch, Capri flares, and an Indy front end. Awesome!

One of the best ideas for a Fox. Always loved the Capri's "flared fender" look.
