here is my GF backing "boss" in the driveway.
Got rid of him a couple of years ago.
Here are some specs or the ad when I bought it rather:
LX 88 Puchased 4_19_2009
88 coupe
351 FI,b-cam,trick flow intake 24#injectors,stock long block out of 94 lightning, shorty headers flowmasters
BBK cold air fenderwell kit
tubular K-member upper&lower control arms 5-lug conversion 94-98 cobra wheels little curb rash not the best good tires supposed to have 31 spline axles and gears havent turned tire yet to see what ratio.
big aluminum radiator with nice dual fan setup
seats and door panels recovered not stock but nice, black carpet most interior plastic looks to have been painted black and needs to be redone to cover scratches.
exterior is black no dents normal small nicks and scratches from years of driving and doesnt show any signs of EVER being in a wreck, very straight car.
comes with new 75mm throttle body and egr spacer still in box
have a almost new tko 600 tranny, lakewood scatter shield, billet flywheel, hays clutch, adjustable cable, quadrant, firewall adjuster all has less than 1K miles on it
car runs fine needs heater core and a/c has been taken off but can get all the pieces to put it back on,radio still works .

'88 GT convertible, 5.0 auto. Bought in January of this year like you see it. Cervini body kit, Porsche Guards Red paint, custom upholstery, white Pony's, white top. Working out some drivability bugs i.e., had alternator rebuilt, replaced fuel pump relay, but have problem with trans shifting correctly and may have stall convertor, not very user friendly as a cruiser with stock engine. By far the nicest looking, paint wise, Mustang I have owned. Love the complements Ive gotten the few times Ive had it out, even on the way home with it on a trailer in the rain.

Where'd you get those seats? I've seen some like those somewhere else. Those are so slick!

They were in the Stang when I bought it. I think they were done somewhere around Clarksville TN as that is where the PO that had all the work done was from.

You know me I already have 3 Foxes but I was at the local car show here in Scottsdale and this guy drives up with this 93 LX, for $3500.... So I grabbed it 3 other guys showed up right after I gave him the deposit to buy it...

Dont know what I am going to do with it, I know its not getting any mods and replacing the cold air back to factory stock...

Just couldnt pass on it...

Here is my 1988 no option notch the first day i brought it home four years ago with 12.324 mile on it. it was bone stock except silver ponys and flowmaster cat back and off road hpipe and 355 gears. the motor was bone stock. And here is what it looks like nowwith 16.791 miles on it. Getting ready to put a vortech s-trim on it in the next couple of weeks have all the parts now.
Has h/c/i and five lug conversion with 03 cobra brakes and 10th anv cobra wheels.

Sorry -that wasn't clear. I was referring to the white Mustang hatch that one of the posters here restored. I followed the entire chain of photos and I love the result. I think the Fox GT's looked great in white, and I prefer hatchback over notchback.
