Here's a couple in-the-rough pics...the welding part is cool, but the grinding parts sucks I was gonna just weld ALL the holes on fender aprons but I decided to drill out the spot welds and replace them(after like 4 hours of fabing!) Anyways lemme. Know if you have questions and ill keep posting pics as I go...

Here are a couple of my engine compartment. The holes have been pretty much filled in already and already painted. The only thing I need to do is redo the paintjob in there so it looks a lot cleaner.

I am not in that big of rush to get the motor built yet. So it is prolly going to be around the beginning of next year. I am having a professional builder build it for me since I am going with a 506 BBF with twin 90mm turbos that I am estimating to provide around 1,000-1,500 hp.

She will prolly be mainly strip use but I will still enjoy her on the street. I will also try not to make the little tuner guys cry to often either lol

Its only a feather coat...everything is welded shut...bondo is only to pick up the hits and lows... no thicker than a 1/8th inch probably less...too thick? How did you do yours?

I didnt do mine but I will be stripping everything off and redoing it.

The only reason why I asked is cuz I do autobody and paint and it looked really thick at the hole. A 1/8th in thick is prolly the max I would go if it couldnt be smoothed out more. You really dont want to be going any thicker than that.

Oh and bondo only pics up the lows not the highs.

Yeah I'm new to do ing bodywork... but I plan on prime it in yellow and then priming it in black so highs show yellow and lows show black... is that a good idea? The whole looks thick because I'd started to weld on it when I decided to leave it open for my aeromotive fuel lines. It's just metal I need to grind down. Any tips would be greatly appreciated
