Anybody everhave this issue with installing/removing heads still on the car?

When I was removing my heads, to take to the machine shop, I had a rough time getting a good angle with the wrench to remove some of the bolts. Then I realized that it's going to be just a hard to install them again.
Anybody ever have this issue before and what did you do to make it easier? I had trouble with the bolts towards the firewall.

I dont have any trouble with my head bolts. You may have to loosen up the header collector to move it a bit if your talking about the lower bolts.

I took the headers completely off. I did manage to get them off but needed to use a swivel extension on a few of them and even that was tricky.
I just want to be able to get a solid angle on them when I install them to get them fully torqued properly.

When I swapped the heads on my 90 I had no problem getting a long socket in every bolt. Needed an extention for the lower ones but otherwise no problem.

plenty of room when I did mine also.

Remember, you guys all probably have a 5.0, where I have a 351w in my foxbody. I think the taller deck height is what's giving me trouble.

Probably. Use a swivel adapter and extensions, preferably with an impact. Another option is undue motor and trans mounts and move engine forward ( lotta extra work tho)
