lol. thanks to Lalo for the idea. this thread is now 100% for any updates on my II project. i never thught ppl would be that interested, but then again, this is ME we're talking about [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif[/img]
soo... where to begin. heres my II now:
and heres where i want it to be:
now so far i've got my hands on a used 5.0 and AOD, some ten holes (now for sale) and some shelby sidepipes with glasspacks (ohhhh yeah)
what i've bought on ebay, that hasnt yet arrived is the shifter for the tranny, new wheels.
what im currently bidding on is the most important part of all of this: those gosh darned friggin motor mounts!!!!! why cant someone make repops of them? why? lol the first set i bid on i lost cuz i was at camp and i lost by 2.50!!!!!!! argh! but this set is a bit cheaper anyhoo so its all good. the new wheels are those you see in the "where i want to be" pic. lol
i've been contempleting a scoop setup though. should i go with a shaker scoop:

or should i go with a carb scoop:
i am still a bit split on that, but i cant afford it for a while anyways lol.

something to fill the holes made by that god ****ed door gaurd thing
turn signal indicators, u kno that lil green arrow and the ticking noise? min no work, but the actual signals do
all red tailight conversion
sequential tailights
king cobra air dam
oh fix that one thing... ui kno... the horn!!!!!
new rear hatch, darn rust
my front discs seem okl, but i think i'll update the rear with discs and maybe put in an 8.8" to replace my 8"...

It's a really really hard choice, I would probably go with the second choice (since you already have the side exhaust), although the first one is very very tempting also (Shaker

once im done, you all need to come around and visit. i wont take no for an anwser. well then again, nce its running, i might be able to get to all of you lol.
and about the scoops, im kinda leaning to the shaker, since you never see anything of the sort on a II, i've seen some carb scoops but no shakers yet. for me, this whole thing isnt about speed or poewr in the end anyway, i know that with a 302 ill always have nough o' that. no, for me its about being unique and standing out. i dont like blending in (hence the 'fro

I'm looking forward to seeing this updated.
Whenever you get it done I'll take a trip up there, and even pick up Lalo on the way lol.

I cannot beleive you have hijacked your own thread..........
Nice ideas with the car and engine, remember to uprate the brakes, it's all well and good increasing a cars power, speed and accelleration, but if the brakes you have cannot stop the car from these new speeds, you are in a bit of trouble {sage mode off}
