serious questio on project 66'
 
i have a 66 mustang coupe and i am looking to take off the front valance and am going to put on a shelby 66 valance with the front bumper (racing) and i was wondering wat that would eliminate? would i still need the stone sheild?

Are you thinking about something like this? Yes you still need the upper stone shield behind the bumper.

yea thats wat i wanna do and also a friend of mine said itll give you more horse power but i didnt see how it would, but would it? im just learning slowly as i go so.

No it wouldn't give you any more horsepower. I think your buddy is trying to sound like he knows more than he does. What's the current status of the car? Could we get pics

No, there's gain in horsepower there. But it does run a bit cooler.

What color is your car? I've been wanting get the one that deletes the bumper, but since my car is white, I'm afraid the seams will be ugly and visible since the front of these cars don't really fit together very well.

well we will actually take pics when it gets nicer out its been raining the past week its in the garage primered and workin on the engine right now but we are gonna paint it the origional color which is tahoe metallic torqoise, and were actually gettin the one with the bumper just bc it doesnt fit right

and also with the dder that run around here dont feel like nailing one too bad lol
