I bought this car from the original owner in 1990. It was his first car in Highschool, and it was also mine. don't think i will ever sell it. too many good times.
1969 Mustang Grande, 302 with a T-10 4-speed (originally an automatic)

"Old Blue", sounds trustworthy, like trigger. Are you sure it's a Grande though? I don't see any of the normal tell tales and I thought (not sure just thought) that the base V8 was a 351 minimum. Maybe that was just the GT.

The owner told me it was a Grande when i bought it. it still had the light blue deluxe interior in it when i got it, the grande badge on the passenger side dash near the clock is stiill there, i removed the chrome wheel well trim pieces and the owner said he had the vinal top removed when he had it painted a darker blue. the motor in the car when i got it had only been rebuilt by him once, and was a 302 when i got it. I have never heard that grandes only came in 351's.
i have seen a lot of 302 grande's for sale over the years, i suppose it possible the ones i have seen have been changed, or the owner of my car could have been off. I have looked around online and can't find anything about it specificly. i don't claim to be an expert on the details of factory options, so who knows.
the parts on my car that still show the original coat along with the info from the previous owner lead me to believe hat this is what my car looked like originally

Just so everyone knows those are pictures of a shoebox with hotwheels in them, George is a master of illusion!
J/K folks, actually for those who don't know him George is a true die hard stanger who does a lot to keep the legend alive and pretty much lives the life we all would love too. You could do alot worse in life than to throw your parts orders his way in the sea of vendors out there today. Odds are he's had hands on experience with each and every piece for any model you need something from, he's definitly earned my business anyway.
Welcome to the board George, glad to see you here!

Hi, I've been around The Mustang Source for awhile, but have only now gotten around to even coming to the forums. I own a run of the mill 66 Coupe with a 289 (originally a 200 6cyl) and 3 speed, which I beleive is original. The previous owner beefed up the suspension because of the engine replacement. Currently in the process of sanding down the body. This is my first car, and the only way I would ever get rid of it is if Carroll Shelby himself wanted to buy it. I've got big plans for this baby for my senior year, me and my buddy are going to take our dates to the prom in it and his (already restored) 66 Fastback. Ill post some pics as soon as I find my digital camera.
