You know what they say, everything is bigger in Texas. And they do mean everything.
Even the ladders. :tex:

This is my second 66, which I finally got finished in the fall of '03. It's restored back to original condition. Well restored is way overused - it's not a concours winner, but it's a nice driver. It's a 289-2V, automatic, and Pony Interior.

Hey guys
New guy from the UK. Seems like a friendly forum, so thought I'd introduce myself and my car, a 65 GT350 clone. Imported as a C code manual fastback from Nevada in 03 and refurbished into this.
Cheers for now!
Simon

I have been posting over on the 05 forum for a month or so now, so it is time to formally introduce myself over here! I have had my 66 fastback since my 16th birthday (Thanks Dad!) but have just recently bought a house (really just wanted the garage!) so I could bring it home. I am in the s l o w proccess of "finishing" the 66, but it's in good enough shape now to enjoy. It's pretty bone stock, not even the hi-po engine. But of course, all this can change ... hehehe (mad scientist laugh)
The '05 is obviously the newest member of the family and is AWESOME. Unfortunately, it is so great it takes me away from the 66! The puppy in the picture is a peace offering to keep the MOST WONDERFUL AND UNDERSTANDING WIFE ON THE PLANET happy. (Read: off my back LOL!) The pup's name is, of course, Mustang Sally.
Glad to be here, and most of all, glad to also be TEXAN! I imagine I'm the only subscriber from the independent state of West Texas though. If I'm wrong, I would love to know!
Thanks for letting me write this novel!

OK here's my introduction to this cool site. I've been a Mustang guy for a long time. Bought my first one when I got out of the Army in '68, a '69 Cobra Jet Mach 1 which I still have and still love. Drag raced the car a lot back in the 70s then parked it for a long time. Had it professionally restored 2003-2004. The car is close to concours condition with the exception of a few things I refused to do, like putting the smog back on. Anyhow I hope you all like the car.
