Not my cup of tea, but great job on the car. Post some in the SN95 section

Koolmotor - 1967 Coupe

Greetings! Happy to become a part of this forum (since I'm certain I'll need a great deal of help with my project over the next six to ten months). I've got a '67 coupe (6 cylinder, auttomatic) in need of fairly comprehensive restoration. Good news is that motor and tranny were rebuilt not too long ago and it runs great. On the down side, I'm having to re-repair some extremely amateur repairs to floor pan(s), fenders and QP's. Have availed myself of most of the online parts sources and am relieved to discover that there's a fix for all my problems (what's money, anyway?). Now all I have to do is learn to weld (but I'm coming along okay, and the floor pan patches are good practice before I tackle the QP skins). I'm also going to redo the entire suspension, steering and brake system, so I've got a long row to hoe before I even think about paint and interir. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be appealing to you guys quite frequently to talk me off the ledge...Thanks.

Kevin

Exclamation I need Resources !

I'm interested in a 1966 Mustang GT upgraded by California Concepts.
Does anyone have any idea, Where I could find out How much these could be worth? Or Where one is, so I may go look at it. Where I could go to research such vehicles.

I Don't know alot about "California Concepts"

Hi all - I've got a 1992 GT 347 that I built and I'm in the process of selling to fund my 1970 Mach 1 393 track car that I'm building at a rapid rate as I'm moving country soon and taking it with me
Fiberglass fenders from Maier racing, fiberglass light buckets. Will have a fiberglass hood/doors/trunk. No interior apart from a Momo seat and Sparco 380mm steering wheel. Will have a Stack dash that will have gps tracking and all the nice stuff.
9 inch rear will have 3.50's I think - havent worked it out yet. Transmission will be an Astro A5.
393 will be 30 over Cleveland with Scat rods and Crank with JE SRP flat top pistons. Custom cam by Buddy Rawls (he did me proud with the 347 I built)
Fender flares all round and 17 or 18" wheels and skinny tires for the track.

Looking for info on my 68 Mustang Notchback road race car

My name is Gary Barnes. I live in Maryland. I own a 68 Mustang notchback that was sold new from Woody Anderson Ford in September of 1968 (according to the Marti report). Car was sunlit gold/black vinyl top with nugget gold interior.I have owned this car for 13 years and have researched this cars history ....back to 1971. I believe this car was converted to a race car early in its life but can't find its history from 68 to 71. Car was traded to Carl Haas Sportscars in late 1970-early 71 and by that time it was a seasoned racer.According to,Chris Crowe, the fellow that purchased the car from Haas in April of 1971.......he was told by Hass ..the car ran Grand Touring(NASCAR) out of TinyLunds shop in Charlotte before traveling to the west coast and participating in a few TransAm Sedan races. But without names or pics.....I can't substantiate these claims. Crowe told me ,when he purchased the car..it was painted blue with lettering on the quarter panels....."Slide and Dive, Waco,Texas". It had a Holman/Moody Nascar cage, quick fuel filler and a rear differential cooler and pump.Body may also had been "acid-dipped". I need help in finding the history of this car and am will to pay for that information. Thanks, Gary Barnes/Maryland 410-218-5992cell

My wife's been wanting a mustang for a while so I so for Mother's Day I bought her a 66 coup.

It's a six cylinder automatic, we plan on keeping it stock other than maybe upgrading the brakes.

1967 Mustang convertible, my very first car, purchased in 1976. Have been preserving it since then but have recently decided to start driving it instead. I-6 200 ci, just installed Rack and Pinion, Disc brake conversion, 1-1/8" Scott Drake anti-sway bar, progressive springs and performance shocks on the front. Duraspark II ignition installed as of yesterday. Next, plan to complete the five bolt wheel conversion with a rebuilt 1970 Mustang 8" rear axle and better shocks. Once I have exhaust headers and dual exhaust installed, I plan on keeping it like that until I decide to do something else to it.
