BAck Again

SO its been a real long time since i posted, Hell I don’t even have my mustang anymore. I know I just broke the 11th commandment. Thou Shall Love and cherish their Mustang and die before selling. Anyways I was 17 and broke so I sold it got a new job selling cars at Hagerstown Ford In Maryland. Got to see then new mustang come out. Sold a few bought a 2002 sport trac and then got fired for Smoking some transam down the high way in the first GT we got on the lot After that i joined the army and have been sitting around until now. You see while i love all mustangs the new ones don’t hold ground to be passed down trough the family. I have been reluctant to buy another 68 because i don’t want to get in over my head again fixing one thing and having another rust out on me. I was lookin through a mustang magazine when i saw it. Solid Foundation was the title. Dynacorn's reproduction 67 and 68 fastback bodies.

Going Over My Head Again But At Least Im Starting Fresh!

Hi Everyone! I just stumbled across this group while looking around for Mustang info. I have a 64.5 mustang pony and are from E. Tn. We are currently giving it a makeover. Cant wait to take it out for its 1st drive. I have a new shifter , shocks, hood , front bumper and other parts orders......and oh yes the front seats are being recovered! Been waiting over 10 yrs to get this project started........yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
I look forward to sharing our stories and learing about my car!

Noobie here. Here's a couple pics of my '71 Mach I. (pics are pics of pics) I purchased in '97. It's been in the garage since 2000 getting a few things done with it. (a lot of other thing happened once it started getting worked on).
My plan is to build a street rod out of it. I have a 351 Windsor style motor with Cleveland heads and a 671 BDS blower waiting to get put in. (850 horses!!) Also putting in narrowed 9" rear, (tubbed of course), C-6 Tranny, and full roll cage. The car is clean as a whisle but it wasn't much fun to drive with 120,000 miles on the motor. Needed a rebuild. One thing led to another and here I am.

Joined a couple days ago. Although I drive my 88LX daily, it really just replaced my 68 which got hit pretty badly. Hopefully I can bring it back to daily driving status.

From Iceland > me and my ´68 fastback GT

Well, I´m kinda new to this forum. Bought my first fastback 2 months ago, which I had been trying to buy for 2 years. The owner finally gave up. It´s a 1968 Mustang Fastback GT J-code with only 55.000 on the odometer. Restored 1990 in USA and imported to Iceland, where I live 1992. Garage kept between the years 1995-2004. Not # matching motor or tranny, has a ´72 302 and a C4 was orignally 302 4V and had 4 speed toplader. The car is in great shape today. Not big future plans for it, maybe new paint within 2 years and install a 351W or 347 stroker.

2007:

While I´m here, I´d like to point out that in Iceland we have MANY classic cars and muscle cars that have been imported from USA over the last 40 years. I run a website that is called www.bilavefur.net and on that site is a huge photoalbum that holds over 11.000 pictures of classic cars/muscle cars that have been, or still are in Iceland over the years. All pictures taken in Iceland.

I joined back in April and drifted away for a while, so I thought I'd reintroduce myself. Here is a refresher....http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showpo...&postcount=224

I have a new addition to my stable as of 12/10/07. It's a 2008 GT/CS. I hope to be around here more often now. Nice to see you guys again.

Here's the new foal.
