Carb and dist. question

Looking into getting a replacement 1 barrel for my 200 6 cyl.
One place tells me I need a new dist. and one tells me I don't.

http://www.championcarburetor.com/6369-replacement-carburetor-for-autolite-1100-holley-1904-holley-1908-holley-1940-1v-144-170-200brfont-colordc143cbbrand-newbrdesigned-for-modern-fuelbfont-p-10667.html

This is the carb I am looking at. Any help is appreciated. Do I need a different dist?

It's been a while since you posted so I assume you've gotten your answer, but, I'll chime in anyway! The early 6 cylinders had a "Loadamatic" distributor that used a modified vacuum signal from the carb to advance the timing. The link says this carb will work with that distributor but I don't see how. It would be an easy bolt on and the vacuum line would install, but I don't think it would run right. Go to Classicinlines.com and read all about it.
