The "smoke" was actually a little bit of residual steam because there is almost no coolant in the system...if you notice there is no hose on the upper radiator neck as we are still figuring out that area. The initial startup for it's short term doesn't raise temps enough to worry about but it created that little puff of steam due to residual coolant on the hotter internal areas....so nothing to worry about there .
