Value of fully restored "73" Mach1?

Value of fully restored "73" Mach1?
My uncle is selling me a fully restored '73 mach1 for $5,000... is the '73 worth $5,000? because I really want a muscle car... although I'm not sure if the '73 is a muslce car (do to all the detuning that was done that year).... what do ya'll think?

Without seeing the car in person, it's difficult to estimate what someone's definition of "fully restored" is, and the age of the restoration. That said, a 73 mach in good or excellent condition is worth way, waaay more than $5K. All Mach 1's are cool and I'd certainly call one a muscle car, as some of the best (and last) muscle cars were produced in '73.

Well its in very good condition (some minor flaws in interior and the radiator has a small leak) but yeah he was originaly selling it at about $9,000, but said he'd sell it to me for $5k. I had the prenotion that most Mustangs were not considered muscle cars. But regaurdless, I think I will buy it from him.
