1966 pain

the throw out arm on my 66 6 cylinder 3 speed dosen't center the bearing in the pressure plate. the pivot is about 3/4 inch to far back. i think i have the wrong bell housing. Any thoughts??

Welcome to the forums!

However there's just not enough information to properly help. I mean, without putting my hands on it and seeing it directly... Maybe? I mean if it worked before but now doesn't, that seems there's a 'slop' issue that needs addressing, which may be the arm, or the bell housing, or the bearing, or...?

Pics would help, as would a small diatribe about what's going on and what happened before this point. I get what you're saying, but seriously, it could be anything at all from waaaaay over here in my computer chair.
