1965 sub sonic ?

1965 sub sonic ?

Does anyone know what the little amplifier in the trunk is, that came stock in my '65 GT?

There were no am radio amplifiers that I know of in 1965.
Somebody must have added it!

I wonder if it was a dealer add on, my father purchased the car in 65, and I know he didn't, it has a control **** under the dash right next to the fog lights switch.

Thank you, I wonder if that is a stock item, a Car Toys technician said that it was worth a lot to a collector, when it is activated, it sounds like your inside a tin can.

Could it be Studio-sonic, rather than sub-sonic? I found several references to the Ford Studio-sonic reverb from that time period.

That's really interesting, your link described only GM cars, so studio sonic or reverberator must have been a special order item
