Ford Racing Legend Parnelli Jones Recalls Driving the #15 Boss 302

To pay tribute to that racing heritage that dates back to the pony car’s earliest days in 1964, Ford is sharing one of the most iconic racing Mustangs of the past 49 years.

The video, part of the “Mustang Countdown” features the story of Parnelli Jones and his memories of driving the School Bus Yellow #15 Boss 302 in the TransAm series during 1969 and 1970.

After missing out on the championship in 1969, Jones, who turned 80 earlier this month, went on to lead Ford to the top in 1970 with five wins in 11 races including one of motorsports most memorable in the finale at Riverside.
