Ford Building Racetrack-Ready Mustangs

Ford will be building two racetrack ready vehicles in early 2011 as 2012 models.  The Cobra Jet will focus on the drag strip and the Boss 302S will be geared for sports car racing.  For a drag strip ready Cobra you will need to spend between $91,000 and $104,000 depending on which supercharger you decide to put in the car.  However cheaper options do exist and you can purchase everything but the engine and transmission for $50,000.

The Boss 302S will retail for about $79,000.
