Ordered my Boss on Monday, and received the DORA today. In both cases, the code "46D" automatically pops up. It is "Tape Stripe Delete", even though in my case we have ordered (and confirmed) "854" which is for the Black Gloss Boss 302 stripes/roof/hood.

Is this merely the method that Ford uses to delete the GT stripes from the order? Is anyone else seeing this as well?

By the way, the order bank and the DORA still aren't reflecting prices, even though we already know what they are....

 

My vehicle confirmation sheet (not sure if it is a DORA), also shows the tape stripe delete, but then it also mentions red stripes. It must be the code to delete GT striping.

 

46D is the code to eliminate V6/GT stripes, so the Boss 302 stripes will be there.

On a side note, the order banks opened this morning. Up until yesterday, Boss 302 / LS orders wouldn't show pricing and had an error message stating that 2012's weren't available for ordering yet. However, now the error message is gone and pricing is showing as of an hour ago.

 

Brian, does that mean that orders placed before today need to be reordered?

 

I had three Boss 302's in our order banks and each was held up with no prices showing and a compatibility error. I found that I had to go back in and "alter" each order today to pull up the new confirmation page and resubmit the order to get them to take. I don't know if this has to be done for each order submitted early, but it wouldn't hurt just to be safe. Dealers should go into CONCEPS and access the alter order screen. Bring up the order to check for pricing then hit the F4 button. If pricing won't load, read the error messages and enter the codes noted in those messages then check pricing again. Hit F4 to update the order.

Mine says the same thing, it has the prices listed too, and it is dated today at 4PM. Looks like they delete the stripes then add the boss stripes through the 500A rapid Spec - but I could be all wrong as people already posting seem far more knowledgable than I.

Still stoked to see something in writing though, lol

Doing everything I can to make sure there are no delays with your car, and to better our odds of getting additional cars. Now if I could just find out when yours will be built.....

 

Just so I'm clear, if you use code 46D only (and don't include 854) you will get a Boss with the tape stripe delete? I want to ensure I get it right when I order.
