I am so drooling right now to get my Boss. Bet my blood pressure goes way down when it's in the garage. Congrats to all that have them now. More info on the cars please.

I was not supposed to have a car back then. He even took it in to fix the 15 or so plant defects and handled all. Sorry to hear that Koon's Ford has lost their ethics. People need to get the word out about S++++Y dealers.

Koon's was beyond awesome to me...they not only sold me that car at a fair price MSRP, but never even hinted at an ADM and got me the car almost 6 months ahead of time. The salesperson even sent me daily VVS updates and emailed me pics of the car on the carrier. Not to metion about 75 other emails!! They even got me 2.99% apr for 72 months!!!

That's great news because a lot of USNA guys/gals buy from them. They know the cars will not stay in the Annapolis area so it's easy to get sloppy on customer service.
Congrats to you and thanks for the pics.

Who did you get 2.99% with? I'm glad they treated you well. I've enjoyed dealing with them on the phone this time around.

Do we have any info on this? For the GT500s it was to keep the lot guys from beating on them while loading/unloading during transport I was told. The supplement described the 5 consecutive miles or 50 start procedures to unlock it. I haven't seen anything published on the Boss. Just want to know what to expect when picking it up and breaking it in

Ok so i decided to play with the shock settings today. Set the rears on 5 and the front on what I thought was 4...Major issues though! The rear have stops so when you turn the adjuster you can not go lower than 1 or highter than 5...but the fronts have no stops!!!! WTF?????? So i hope they are set properly...how do i know??? Does anyone else with a delivered Boss have no adjuster stops on the front??? AHHHH I AM QUITE FRUSTRATED!!

Hmm. When I had the FRPP handling pack on my GT500, it had the Tokico D-specs. I believe the Boss dampers are Tokicos but not D-specs. On the D-specs there were no markings and you could back them out further than the 6 settings. However, when you screwed them all the way down they were on the firmest setting and stopped. You then turned them counter-clockwise a revolution at a time to adjust between the 6 settings. There were also no markings like there appear to be on the Boss. If you turn them in all the way clockwise do they stop?

I don't have mine yet, but given what you've said I'm going to place a strip of tape across the adjusters to remind me there are no stops, and to make sure I don't accidentally move them.

they don't stop either way...btw my JRZ's stopped so if I got lost on the setting i could start over as there were 16 clicks on those!

BTW The rear axle is painted but the diff cover does NOT have a drain plug

Yikes. Hope you can still get the cover off with a Watts Link installed. Will be a PITA to pull that off to change fluid........ Does the FRPP cover have a drain plug?

The cover still has the bosses for the drain plugs, right? Meaning if we are willing to have the car sit for a bit, we can drill and tap the cover for plugs ourselves?
