Ok, here is a technical question for you guys.
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4041/...417cc27f23.jpg

I didn't pay attention to the struts when I pulled them off and a little unsure if I put them back in the right way.

If you look at that picture, the rounded side with the barcode, should it go facing outwards or inwards towards the engine? I put the rounded side facing away from the car because it angles down towards the engine bar. I'm 85% sure that's right, but just want to make sure.

I think you got it! I had to second guess myself when I did mine and I recall using the cut-out on the rounded side for reference..

I'm thinking 32% when I get mine, doesn't look as good, but I gotta drive a decent amount at night.

The rounded side goes towards the outside of the car (I looked first).

These cars simply look better when lowered. Problem is the warranty issues. Can dealers do lowerings and still keep the warranty intact?

I change my own oil and wash my car myself. Does that mean my warranty is voided?

Does farting on the leather void the warranty? I just want to be sure.

OP, looks good.

I haven't gotten an alignment yet, because just looking at the car I can see it has negative camber. It is visible in some of those pictures.

What are you guys buying to fix this? I don't want to buy caster camber plates for a 2010 and need new struts.

All you need is a toe adjustment.....Otherwise you'll be scrubbing off your tire tread...

i as well have a 1.5 drop with the same springs you have and i got it aligned and i was within specs it looked like i was not but im all good

and lowering your car does not void your warranty the dealership has to prove that lowering your car was the problem. so you blow your motor well the lowering of the car did not do that so your motor will get fixed.

but if your shocks and struts go out then the dealership can prove lowering your car in fact played a role in that and wont replace them but new shocks and struts only 357 for konis so well worth it.

Problem is, it's not adjustable unless you install camber plates, At a 1" drop my camber is -1.1 degrees. Well within spec of -.75 +/- .50....

I know, which is why I said what I said... hah

I don't want to pay for an alignment, they can't adjust camber, then I order parts and have to pay for another alignment.

What about the Eibach bolt kit?

farting doesn't void the warranty; however dropping a hot piping loaf does
