Mikey, I've had my eye on the Hurst billet shifter from American Muscle. Can you compare/contrast it with your MGW, please? Just assuming you might have shopped them both; what tilted you in favor of the MGW unit?

To be honest, I didn't consider anything other than the MGW. I had heard so many good things on this site even before I was a member, that I knew there was no competition. I'm not sure where you are in Indiana, but I live in Indianapolis and make it up to Kokomo quite frequently. If you wanted to check out the MGW in person, send me a PM and we'll try to work something out.

Wow, man. Ride looks good. I think you 100% just sold me on the side vents. Though, I think I'm going to go with the louvers as well and spoiler delete. Great set-up!

 

 

 

Absolutely gorgeous SGM's folks!! I have had a few charcoal gray foxes back in the day, and when I pull the trigger on a 2013 GT in the coming months I'm definitely going with SGM. The paint on these newer GTs really is something compared to that from back in the fox and SN-95 days.

I haven't posted much on here lately, had a lot going on... Here's one sitting outside our new apt this fall... I also got a stubby antenna from cravenspeed, looks OEM, I really like it.

 

I sold my '94 Cobra this morning, so FINALLY...I can go ahead and order a '14 GT just like yours...SMG, glass roof, leather Recaros,...and the Track Pack. She'll be a spoiler delete car. Hopefully I'll have time to order her in the next 2 weeks.

How do you like the glass roof? Also, do you have any pictures of it from the inside/drivers seat? I just ordered a 2014 with track pack and recaros in sterling gray and ive been debating whether to add the glass roof or not since I cant find one to see in person!

 

I love the glass roof. I'm 6'4'' so it gives me a little more head room. I never have the shade closed on it unless I forget my sunglasses. It's in the garage for the winter, but I'll take some pictures if you'd like...

What kind of paint did you use - high temp I guess? Epoxy? Did you do the backside as well? How is it holding up?

 

nice! geez that spoiler looks great and i was thinking about black hood vents - was going to try and trade someone with a black car looks awesome! and those 5.0 badges are killer too.

 

I used the Duplicolor Black Satin Brake Caliper kit, and brushed it on. The rotor hats still look good, but the paint is coming off of the veins. Those things rust almost immediately, so they were already slightly rusty when I painted them, no biggie.

Thanks! The hood vents are just Plasti-Dip... I wanted to see if I liked it before I had them painted, still considering having them dipped in hydrocarbon, but I think it might be too much with the 5.0 badges being hydrocarbon already.
