Official 2013 part retrofit thread
Guys,
The purpose of this thread is to gauge interest and find out what parts from the '13 models everyone wants to put on their '10-12 cars. Obviously, there's a bit of time to wait before the resources will be made available, but my goal for this thread is to allow it to serve as a hub for all of this discussion. I will keep the first post updated with a listing of requests, and as things are deemed possible and/or completed, link to those threads.
Exterior:
-Rear taillamps & decklid blackout panel
-Heated side mirrors & pony projection lamps
-LED fog lights from '13 GT
-front end conversion (any style, includes hood)
-GT500 quad exhaust
-Headlamps
-GT/Boss hood vents
Interior:
-4.2" LCD display in gauges
-Recaro seats
Engine/Drivetrain:
-Cobra Jet intake
-Race/Track pack parts (Torsen, radiator, oil cooler)
-GT500 differential cooler
-GT500 Brembo 6-piston brakes
Suspension:
-GT500 Performance Pack electronically adjustable shocks/struts
NOTE: Anyone that can provide technical information, such as drawings, part numbers, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

recaros, maybe the GT500 brakes (though the brembos are already pretty sufficient), torsen, some boss bits, and not sure if anything else (unless they have revised oil cooling, etc)

For the taillights wouldnt you have to replace the rear facia as well. Now that the kink is gone it would leave a gap where the kink in the 10-12 taillights was.

That's what it looks like so far. It makes sense to change the bottom edge of the lamp at the refresh, since they changed the rear fascia as well. Probably one of the cheaper things to change. You'll need new harnesses for each lamp as well, and we don't know how the lamps are controlled. If it's not using a controller on the harness, then chances are the PCM controls it, and renders the retrofit **** near impossible. Still a lot to learn between now and release.

another thing to think about if the rear fascia is changed is that the lower edges are painted where the side splitters and front lower are still black plastic, for continuity everything would need to be painted or at least a good looking mix and match.

Don't think it's gonna happen.

Looking to do a full front end conversion perhaps in the future.

If making the retrofit for the guages and track apps isn't possible, then I would love for it to be an app version for Android or iPhone. There already is something similar with Bluetooth ODBII connectivity, I don't see why it couldn't be done.
