Meet Dani.
Yesterday I went to work and was just trying to distract myself until lunch when I checked my phone. I had gotten a voice-mail from my dealer (who wouldn't call me unless the car was sitting on their lot). I crammed the rest of my sandwich down and left work. Me and the GF drove to the dealership and there she was.
This is the best thing I have ever sat in. I love every bit of this car. The wait still sucked but my god was it worth it. I took today off to just drive around and do errands. All of my co-workers will be getting back from travel this week around Friday. They have seen how stressed I've been over not knowing what was happening with my car and when it would be there.
The thing is a piece of art. I am getting used to doing %100 of my driving on stick as this is my first manual car (Scary powerful WOT 2nd->3rd) The glass roof is beautiful with the black stripes. I can't say enough about this car. The 3.73's push you back into the seat, the cali special look is mean, the race red is very bright, and the sync system is sweet. To those still holding out, don't give up hope!

Thanks for the compliments. This is the car of my dreams. Thanks to everyone here and on all the forums. This was a light of information in a dark sea of nothing useful from my dealer. Would never have gotten the 750 off for the brochure, would never have known about the 500 off for dealer financing, would not have tried arguing lower than sticker because I didn't know how much they could charge for a first edition brand new Cali special.
I owe you guys a lot. Here's to hitting the throttle at the next red light.
