Have had my snows on since November 18th but just got our 1st snow last night (about 4").
Perfect amount for fun in the Stang with it's Michelin X-Ice shoes on, had the Traction Contol light flashing as well as the ABS kicking in a few times ... both 1st's with this car, plus 1st's for me in any RWD car I've had in the past.
As far as dry pavement handling over the past 3 weeks, these skinny 215/65-17's do just fine. Maybe not as good as my "H" Speed rated 225/60-15 Dunlop WinterSport M3's that I had on my '04, but MUCH better than the "Q" Speed rated Blizzak WS-50's I had on my '98 ever were.

When else can you do 4 wheel drifts in every corner without burning up expencive tires and chancing a reckless driving and/or speeding ticket ??
