2011 Michigan Fall Color Tour Fun Run - pics and video
Overboost hosted an awesome Mustang run over the weekend here in Michigan. There were 5 of us from TMS, as well as a friend of Overboost's in a Mazda 3 running tail-gunner. I took some pics at the meeting place and at the break points and ran my GoPro during the ride as well.

After the video, the pic first is my Mustang, and the first group shot is (left to right):

2012 Black GT (2010 Sterling Grey Shelby)
Black Fire (2012 Lava Red GT Brembo)
Overboost (2011 Kona Blue GT)
J1000 (my 2012 Lava Red GT)
StangPilot007 (2010 Kona Blue Roushcharged GT)

We had a blast! We put down around 112 miles on Michigan's back roads, and made two stops to break and hang for a few. Can't wait for the next one!

Awesome video Jay! Looks like I left some strips behind on the road at 1:55 haha. This was definitely a lot of fun. I've done this several times before with the Mazda forum guys as has Steve (Overboost). It was awesome to try it out in the Mustang for the first time and can't wait for next year.

Yeah, I saw that, hehe. As I was going through the footage, I could still feel the rush. What a great time! Great group too. My son had a blast also!

Haha I definitely got a rush just watching the footage too. Fantastic video and editing, really feels like we're there again.

Cool video guys, how did it feel to go through that little stretch of road construction !

Thx for sharing, i wish i'd live closer to Michigan. You guys have to come here once of these days, we have close to 800 members in the Montreal Mustang club. We do gatherings every friday nights.

Construction wasn't bad, it was mostly just a load of dirt that had been trekked on the road for a very short period.

We're in the Motor City, we have plenty of Mustang's and muscle cars here too.

Hoping that by the next run, we'll have a few more GoPro's and can get more footage. Hats off to Jay for putting a great vid together.

For those of you coming to Mustang Alley '12, stay tuned. I think we'll run this again.
