New Car Day: 2006 Mustang GT

Been wanting one of these for the last couple years...very badly! I got a promotion at work within the last couple of months as well, so that certainly helped. It's all stock other than a modified cold air intake. I plan to get sequential tail lights, race pedals, and possibly 4:10 gears for it. Nothing major. It sounds great and drives nice and smooth. And thanks to everyone on here for answering all of the questions I posted in the past. Much appreciated!

Tinted windows is another one I was planning on doing, just forgot to list it. I've never seen an 05-09 with a shorter antenna. Anyone have any pics of how that would look?

http://www.americanmuscle.com/8inch-...enna-0509.html I'm partial to the 8in, but a lot of others like the 14in as well. Either way, you really can't go wrong.

Here it is on my old mustang.

+1 on the short antenna. It's one of those mods that you'd never think about if you didn't have it, but once you do you couldn't ever have a mustang without it. I've got the 14" which puts the top of the antenna pretty much right in line with the roof. I really like it. You're car looks great by the way, I hope you really like it.

Here's a pic of my car with the 14" antenna.

Wow, I would have never even thought about that, haha. The 14" one does look pretty good. Maybe I'll try that one out. Thanks guys!

It's a cheap and easy mod that'll make you smile every time you see a mustang without it. I haven't noticed any radio reception issues, either..

I bought the 8" antenna is couldn't be happier. You don't even notice it when looking at the car( dark car). Reception is just as good IMO too. Makes the car look so much better for a such a minor change.

Congrats on the new ride! Enjoy it. You won't regret it except for the black paint.
