With the big show in Vegas quickly approaching, Classic Design Concepts (CDC) has revealed their new take on the Mustang to be showcased at SEMA – and it’s all about the “money” baby.

No, seriously –  it really is.

The custom shop’s take on the Ford pony car, called “Bad Penny,” features a black and copper color combo painted in the theme of one of America’s first units of currency. Other specs include CDC’s Performance Grille, side and rear splitters and a rear spoiler. The SEMA show car also features 20-inch Forgiato super concave wheels fitted with BF Goodrich G-Force Rival tires, a sports Whiteline Watts link suspension, Wilwwood brakes and RTR adjustable sway bars.

Interior features include a Ford Racing gauge pack and Recaro/Ford Racing seats that match the exterior color theme. Under the hood, “Bad Penny” features a 5.0-liter V8 engine and a Ford racing supercharger that cranks out 624-horsepower.

Hard to imagine anyone just walking past this take on our old copper-plated coin with these kinds of features.
