While this model wears the same style of knockoff wheel as the original, it’s finished in a sinister black like most of the trim. It’s a similar story inside, where the familiar diamond-stitched upholstery is offset with a modern carbon fiber dash.

The gunmetal grey paint seems straight from a modern Mustang’s order book, and the yellow contrast stitching and gauge faces offer a much-needed splash of color.

We’re not sure if we like the cooling ducts on the rear quarter panels. They don’t look completely out of place, and we’re sure they help cool the modern disc brakes, but you just don’t mess with a legend.
