The most recent news is centered on something that just about every performance enthusiasts in the world would probably like to know, which is – exactly how fast will it go?

According to AutoEvolution, Mustang chief engineer Dave Pericak says the new base 3.7-liter V6 Mustang will top out at 121 (195 km/h), which is 8 mph more than the outgoing model. The 5.0-liter V8 version of the new pony car will be governed at 155 mph, according to the Ford engineer.

The top speed for the 2.3-liter EcoBoost will be on par with the V6 at 121 mph. But opting for the Track Pack will give you another 24 mph more pushing the s550’s governing limit up to 145 mph, reports AutoEvolution.
