2024 Roush Mustang Phase 2 Supercharger Kit

The limited edition Launch Edition Roush Mustang Phase 2 Supercharger kits feature Jack Roush’s laser-etched signature.

The S650 Mustang GT has plenty of power right from the factory. But Roush Performance has never been satisfied with plenty of power. Roush Performance is all about insane, over the top levels of power. And we are here for it. The company has just launched their 2024 Roush Mustang Phase 2 Supercharger – Launch Edition kit. It will boost the power in your 2024 Mustang GT to 810 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque. And for a little extra under the hood bling, the Roush Red painted head unit features Jack Roush’s signature.

To develop this kit Roush teamed up with Magnuson Superchargers to create a TVS R2650 supercharger that headlines the kit. This supercharger is good for 13 PSI of boost at 7,500 RPM. The kit retails for $9,995 and you should factor in another couple grand to have it professionally installed. That means a nicely specced Mustang GT with this kit installed should cost less than $80,000. Not too bad for this kind of power.

Kit Features

Launch Edition

The Coyote V8 found in the 2024 Mustang GT uses a dual throttle body design. So, naturally the Roush Mustang Phase 2 Supercharger kit uses dual throttle bodies. The system also includes twin charge air coolers, and high-flow, dual cone fuel injectors. The engine will get all the air and fuel that it needs. And although it makes big power, reliability is equally important. The quality components used allow Roush to offer a limited parts warranty with the kit. The kit is SEMA-certified emissions compliant. Unfortunately, it is not approved for sale or installation in California.

Installation and Tuning

Supercharger

A supercharger kit is great and all, but you don’t want to be frustrated with installation and tuning. Roush understands this. That is why the kit is designed to be installed with basic garage tools and no modifications to the K member or removal of the front fascia for the front mount or low-temperature radiator. All wiring is plug-and-play. It is estimated that the kit will take ten hours to install. Or you can leave it to a Ford dealer or an Automotive Service Excellence-certified technician. The tuning process should be easy as well thanks to Roush Diagnostic Tool (RDT) software. You just need a laptop running this software and a SAE J2534 communication device.

Past and Future Kits

S650 Mustang

Roush has been in the performance game for a long time. Roush Performance and Magnuson Superchargers have been partnering up since days of the 2001 to 2004 Stage 3 Mustang builds. The Limited Edition kit is available now. To purchase click HERE. However, later this year Phase 1 and Phase 2 kits are anticipated as well. If you want to drive a Mustang GT or Dark Horse that stands above the rest, going with a Roush kit is an excellent choice. Why settle for “only” 500 horsepower when you can easily push over 800?
