GT500 Battles GT-R, Bites Dust, Literally
Just like the State Farm TV commercial says, “You almost had it!”
Today’s biggest share of Mustang crash videos come courtesy of Cars & Coffee meetings across the country, but not this one. We’re not sure if we should consider this a good or bad thing, but at least this Mustang GT500 driver didn’t risk hurting innocent bystanders.
This video comes to us courtesy of the ever-entertaining BigKleib34. It shows us a pretty hot match between a sleek Mustang GT500 and a highly modified Nissan GT-R. The suspense builds up as the American muscle car lines up to fight Godzilla, and both rev up their engines as they prepare to take off.

It’s at this point that we wonder what the GT500 could be packing under the hood. Its 500 ponies from the factory aren’t anything to laugh about, but the GT-R’s computer wizardry could easily outsmart them. Much to our surprise the rear-wheel drive Mustang gets a better launch than the Nissan, but then the inevitable happens…
