Ford Mustang May Move to NASCAR Sprint Cup Series

In 2013 Ford Mustang may be racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series!  Automakers and NASCAR know the importance of brand identity and are hoping the popular Mustang will bring people back to track and into dealerships.  Ford Mustang has proven to be hugely popular in Nationwide Series, which they currently race in, so a move up to the Sprint Cup Series seems a logical move.  However, with a desire to promote the “win on Sunday, sell on Monday” marketing campaign, Ford want their Mustangs to look more like production models if they race in the Sprint Cup Series.
