First Shelby GT350 Set for Barrett-Jackson Auction
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that the first production model of the new Shelby GT350 is going to go for big bucks.
Now, I could be wrong, given the fact that some of my previous predictions have gone sour. But considering that the very first Mustang went for $300,000, I would expect the first retail S550 bearing the iconic Shelby nameplate to rake in some pretty serious coinage as well.
Either way, we’ll find out soon enough as the new Shelby is set to cross the block Jan. 17 at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction.
Proceeds from the auction of the new 500-plus horsepower Mustang will be donated to JDRF, an organization that focuses on type-1 diabetes (T1D) research.
The winning bidder will be able to choose from available colors and packages for Shelby GT350.
