[Video] Mustang Gets Sideswiped During Traffic Stop

The fear of getting a ticket in your Mustang can be a pain in the ass, especially for younger drivers who probably are already paying hefty insurance premiums.

However, what happened to this Mustang owner after getting stopped by an officer is a sign that a ticket could be the least of your worries, as captured in a Montgomery County Police video report.

The incident occurred when the driver was waiting for the officer to go through the routine of checking his license after being stopped, all of which was caught on the officer’s dash cam.

While standing outside waiting, the young driver begins dusting off his Mustang. A few seconds later, the driver can be been seen sitting on the bumper of the car likely pondering the cost of the ticket, when suddenly he spots a pickup truck veering straight his way.

The driver hops out of the truck’s path just as it sideswipes his Mustang, captured at the 3:48 mark in the video, which provides a pretty clear picture of why a ticket should be the least of your worries when on the road.
