Cobra would not be offered in 1982, but a GLX would be. The GLX was just a
GT with a few more options. Other than that and the return of the 5.0L
after a two-year absence, there weren't many changes for '82.
1982 would be the first year for Special Service
Mustangs. From 1982-1993, Ford offered a Special Service Package for law
enforcement agencies.
