The 2012 Shelby 1000 debuted at the New York Auto Show earlier this year as the most powerful Mustang ever built by the legendary company with 950 horsepower in standard trim and 1,100 horsepower available for the track-only S/C version. The car also features numerous performance upgrades including a full suspension upgrade, larger brakes, a 9-inch rear end and carbon fiber driveshaft.

2015 Mustang Spied with IRS

With the debut of the 2015 Ford Mustang coming in the next couple years it was only a matter of time before Ford would begin testing out prototypes. It looks like that time as come, as spy photographers have captured a 2015 Mustang prototype being tested out on public roads. To the untrained eye the car might look like a test mule based on the current 2013 model, but underneath the bodywork is hiding the chassis and suspension being developed for the next generation Mustang. The evidence is in the photos, which show off the new rear suspension setup for the very first time. The current S197 Mustang platform was initially tested with an independent rear suspension as well, but all reports indicate that the next generation Mustang will most definitely lose the solid rear axle.

2013 Boss 302 In School Bus Yellow

On paper the 2013 Mustang Boss 302 may not look like it’s much different than the 2012 model, and in all honesty it’s the truth. The exterior design has been tweaked, the graphics package changed, and a few options have been added to the interior. Even so, out of all the 2013 Mustang lineup the Boss 302 sets itself apart visually the most of any model from the previous year.
