Sweet Billet Aluminum Badge Available for Coyote 5.0-Liter

If you’re looking to add a little something to spice up the engine bay of your 2011+ model GT engine bay, stop and check these out. Created by a long time member of our forums and a guy that is no stranger to Fords or Mustangs, he came out with this little piece that really adds a lot under the hood of any modern S-197 GT Mustang. Chris, or Knight as we know him on our forums, has owned five Mustangs in his life with the current vehicle being a 2003 SVT Cobra. You can pretty much say that his passion lies within these cars.

Starting out as a salesman at Victor Ford in Wauconda, Illinois, Chris started coming up with his own ideas of what he can make that wasn’t already out on the market for the Mustang. After leaving Ford last year, he branched out to produce an aftermarket Mustang part for the Coyote owners, and here is the billet badge for the 5.0-liter engine.

What is it? It’s an engine badge made of T6061 billet aluminum, then hand sanded and powder coated. To install, it has 3M adhesive backing.

Here it is. Interested? Looks pretty awesome to us.

You can order it here at 6061performance. Check out the website. TMS members use the coupon code “FIRST” and get $25 off!

looks good but I may be only one of very few who don’t like the Coyote name for the new 5.0. A Coyote is a small animal that hides and attacks on small prey and not a good name for an engine powering the Mustang.
