Here’s another video clip that we can’t just ignore – a 2014 Ford Mustang GT500 vs. a 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 brought to us by Bad Bowtie Productions.

Yeah, we realize that with a name like “Bad Bowtie” there’s a good chance that anything these guys do might favor Chevy cars. But there’s a sense of rawness in their clips that we’ve come to find pretty entertaining here at The Mustang Source nonetheless even though again, we’d never condone the danger involved in street racing.

With a starting price of $54,795 for the Corvette C7 Z51 and $54,800 for the Mustang Shelby GT5o0, the two cars are practically dead even when it comes to cost, as reported by CarScoops.com.

In terms of sheer power, the C7’s 6.2-liter 455-horsepower V8 engine is no match for the Shelby GT500’s 662-horsepower 5.8 liter V8, touted as the most powerful V8 engine on earth.

But as we’ve come to learn, how it all plays out ultimately depends on the test grounds.

Check out the clip below.
