Shelby American has rolled out a more powerful take on the Mustang GT that’s sure to have more than a few fans a little envious.

The limited edition Mustang is painted in yellow and black as a tribute to the Terlingua Racing Team that won the 1967 Trans Am Championship. But it’s the car’s performance upgrades that have people buzzing, as highlighted in a Leftlane News report.

Pushing to beef up the Mustang’s output, Shelby has added a Whipple supercharger that boosts the power to a whopping 750 horses, more than 315 hp over the standard GT.

The Terlingua Mustang is also equipped with adjustable coilovers, model-specific sway bars, a Borla exhaust system with black tips, and huge Brembo brakes.

Landing one of these yellow and black beauties, however, won’t be easy. Shelby American will only build 50 of the cars, which cost $65,999, not including the donor Mustang GT.
