It seems that some of the hottest Mustangs in Southern California were on display at a Saleen open house held at the company’s headquarters in Corona, CA.

The annual event invites Saleen owners to show off their cars and tour the factory facilities where the legendary automobiles are built. The open house also gives attendees the chance to meet some of those involved in building the cars as well Steve Saleen, the legendary founder of the company.

According to a Mustang News report, more than 100 cars were featured at this year’s event (held Set. 15) ranging from the 1980’s Fox Body Mustangs to some of the latest Saleen models to roll out of the company’s factory.

However, it seems that most of the attention was focused on the 2014 Saleen 351 Extreme. Featuring an enlarged supercharged engine with about 700 horsepower, the limited edition car is the most powerful and most expensive Saleen Mustang to date, notes Mustang News.

Pricing? Roughly $82,000 up to $100,000 for a convertible model loaded with all the options featuring custom paint like the “Orange County Orange” pictured.

The George Follmer edition Saleen Mustang, part of Saleen’s new Heritage Collection, was also on display at the open house. Developed in celebration of the legendary racer’s #16 1969 Mustang Boss 302, the Follmer edition features custom graphics, 19” Panasport style wheels and a custom rear fascia.

The Follmer edition Saleen is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 with 470 horsepower.
