What you see before you is the Revology Mustang, and in the words of a few other people, this is as close to a Singer Mustang as you can get. Well, to my eye, it’s not. Having been up close and personal with a Singer 911, this Mustang still has a ways to go. However, this has to be one of the best reproduction and slightly upgraded classic Mustangs ever.

Revology starts each build with a completely redesigned new chassis and shell. While they may look like exact replicas, each piece has been substantially redesigned to improve the overall function of the car. Whether it’s in the performance arena or just the driving quality, Revology leaves no stone unturned, and that definitely shows in the finished product.

Whereas usual restomods have a brand-new engine lumped into the bay, Revology stuck with a 302 Windsor that rounds out the car’s overall classic appearance. However, instead of carburetion, Revology updated the engine with EFI.

Overall, the finished product is quite stunning, and they look to be a blast to drive. However, here comes the bad news: for a bone-stock example with few option boxes ticked, the base Revology Mustang comes to $119,500. The premium convertible version is $122,000. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather have a complete restomod that I can hammer all day long than what appears to be a perfectly restored classic.

What do you think? Is it worth the money?
