Raybestos Mustang Is One Cool Looking Muscle Car

Raybestos Mustang

Nothing beats a good classic Mustang restoration. That’s why we’re always covering them here at The Mustang Source.

One of the most recent and excellent ones we’ve seen is this 1969 project from the team at Raybestos Brakes, done in partnership with world-renowned Schwartz Performance. The mods on the Mustang include a Ford Coyote engine, a Schwartz Performance installed “G-Machine” bolt-in chassis, and a performance disc brake upgrade package.

Of course, given that it’s a Raybestos project, we wouldn’t expect the classic restoration to be equipped with just any old performance brakes. The braking system features special Raybestos components and Element3 brake pads with Enhanced Hybrid Technology (EHT).

The Raybestos Mustang will be making the rounds in North America before revving up for its big showcase at the 2016 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas, where a lucky winner will be handed the keys to the muscle car.
