Patriotic Shelby GT350 Reporting for Duty

You likely won’t come across a Shelby GT350 more special than this one. Nope, not one.

Sure, there are likely dozens of cool models of the car on the road by now. But this one is far from the typical mod. The red, white and blue Mustang is the latest in a number of Mustangs that are touring the U.S. as part of the “High Five Tour,” aimed at raising awareness and donations for veterans and their families, with a goal of raising $1 million. All in all, the 20016 tour is expected to cover 48 states and 27,000 miles.

Bill Bradford, who has been traveling with the Shelby, said it’s the stories that he hears along the journey that really make the tour special, as highlighted in the 12 News report below.

“There are so many [memories],” he said. “There’s always the stories that people share about their loved ones when they’re signing the car.”

Last year, the High Five Tour raised enough money to give 44 Ford vehicles to U.S. veterans. Now that deserves a high five!
