HRE Performance Wheels, maker of all things round and glorious, have slapped some Flow Form FF01 rims on the new S550 Mustang.

According to a leaked window sticker from the new Shelby GT350, we now know the fuel economy numbers for the new track-focused Mustang. And they remind us of the glory days.

This space-themed s550 Mustang was influenced by NASA’s Apollo program, and it sure looks like a rocket ship!

When it became clear that Ford was going to put a high-output, racing-derived version of its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 in its next GT, many citizens of the interwebs were livid. Greater fuel efficiency and increased power be damned, the V8 diehards hated the Blue Oval’s change in power plants.

The patent applications are for body panels that can be lit up through the use of LEDs. Essentially, Ford wants to be able to light up whole body panels, if they so choose.

This limited edition S-197, which was recently up for sale on eBay, was developed by Roush Performance as one of 100 cars the company built for 2012 known as the “Hyper Series” Ford Mustangs.
