Get ‘Em While They’re Hot: 2015 Mustang Posts Outstanding Sales Numbers

The new Mustang certainly is making quite a mark in the world of sports cars.

The latest bit of news includes a sales increase of 36.1 percent in March, compared to the same month the year before. All of which accounts for a total of 12,663 new 2015 Mustangs sold, according to a USA Today report.

And for the first three months of 2015, sales for the new Ford pony car increased 52.1 percent for a total of 29,811 vehicles. That’s quite the contrast from the Mustang’s chief competitor, the Camaro, which saw its sales drop 30.9 percent in March.

Of course, with the Camaro revving up for a new model later this year, the true winner of the American pony car sales war may be better determined in 2016. But let’s just revel a bit in today’s obvious front runner, shall we?
