Mustang GT Paired Against Jaguar F-Type R in Comparison Video

This might not be your typical match-up for the S550, but it certainly reveals why the new sixth-gen Mustang is such a hot seller.

At a cost of nearly $70K less than the car it’s paired against in the The Fast Lane Car video review below, the Mustang GT already comes out on top for the average car buyer. But in the review, the Jaguar F-Type R Convertible proves to be the favorite of the test driver who puts both vehicles through the paces.

Then again, the Jag does have 100 horsepower on the Mustang GT, which you would expect to give it a slight edge. Perhaps a much better match-up for the Jag would be the new Mustang GT350R, which I’m betting would fare far better for the Ford nameplate.
