MCA Fall Expo Should Hit Five Sweet Spots for Fans

If there’s one thing there never seems to be shortage of, it’s Mustang car shows.

In fact, in many regards, the events are as historic as the Ford pony car itself. And even if you can’t make all of the shows, as a diehard Mustang fan, you’re practically obligated to attend at least one.

Trouble is, unless you already belong to a club, figuring out which one(s) can be tough to narrow down. But we’re inclined to think that The Mustang Club of America’s Fall Expo — being held in Joliet, Illinois October 1st and 2nd — might be well worth considering, based on a recent Mustang 360 report. And here are five solid reasons why…

1. Given MCA’s high level of credibility, pulling off a Best in Show here could hold a lot of weight.

2. In addition to showcasing Mustangs, the MCA Fall Expo will also provide owners with an opportunity to compete in everything from autocross activities to open track events.

3. As you can see in these photos, the first MCA Expo, held May 27 and May 28, featured roughly 100 Mustang cars — quite a showing for a first go-around.

4. Considering the clout of the attendees for the seminars at the May expo — like John Clor from Ford Performance — we expect an even more impressive list of attendees in October.

5. With sponsors like Ford Motor Co. and BF Goodrich, you can be assured the MCA Expos will be first-class events.
