Man wants to sell Mustang for World Series tickets

World Series Mustang

I guess the love for Mustangs doesn’t run that deep for a few who own the cars because one man is ready to trade in his 1965 Mustang for tickets to the World Series.

Yup, that’s what we hear.

Jerrod Main, a Kansas City Royals fan, has placed an ad on Craigslist where he hopes to get $24,000 so that he and his family of six can attend at least one game, according to a Fox News report.

“I can buy another car on down the road, but seeing the Royals in the World Series is once every 30 years, almost,” Main told Fox News. With that kind of perspective, I think it’s safe to say this is one Mustang owner we’ll never see holding a top Mustang club board seat.

Even crazier, if Main does succeed in selling the car, he still might not land the best seats. Some of the premium tickets for Wednesday’s game are soaring up to over $6,000 on StubHub.

Not to mention the fact that after the San Francisco Giants handed the Royals that 7-to-1 beating Tuesday to open the series, any kind of bet on Kansas City seems questionable.
